SAMUEL XUN

( x , y ), Graduation Fashion Collective

Done in 2013-2014, “( x , y )” was a project that spanned 6 months. The clothes presented serve as my final project for my study in LASALLE College of the Arts. Inspired from stagnancy and repetition, the visuals are deconstructed and remodelled into geometrically inclined garments. The oversized silhouettes satirize the ideas of sensuality and offer the wearer a sense of nondescript.

C55H72O5N4Mg

Omnipresent and continuous on a practical time frame, C55H72O5N4Mg is a fashion collective that taps into the ideas of accessible naturalism and the stagnancy of it. Breaking down abstract organic visuals, and remodeling them with geometry, the clothes explore this idea of hybridization. The pieces are a mood, a notion.
